No-Code In Digital Products Design by Ilja van Eck & Erwin Luijendijk
The internet was once 4 people. Not everyone was free to create and publish. Then, digital creation became a specialized skill that only a handful were capable of. Today, the doors have been blown wide open. Anyone can create and scale amazing digital products - and it all comes down to one very important catalyst.
In this talk, Erwin Luijendijk and Ilja van Eck discuss the role of no-code in changing the landscape of digital creation for good. From the history of web development, to the birth of the new species of creator, they’re here to bring you a whole new perspective on the role of no-code in transforming the wild, wild web. Oh, and not to mention how it’s forever changed the ‘it’s c...

I feel scammed for having purchased this course, I would like a refund. You can't sell such a bad course for god's sake. I don't doubt that the final website is beautiful, at least visually, but the thing is that the course becomes unbearable, or rather, the instructor makes it unbearable. I'm sorry but I need a refund...

@@irfansaeedkhan7242 Don't buy it, I got this course yesterday and is very bad, the instructor is lost and slow in terms of coding and explaining. If you get this course what you will see is a man trying to solve problems and searching on Google how to solve them.... I would say that sometimes he doesn't even know what he is doing... Instead of make the course easy to understand and focus in doing things well, he just talk and talk and goes from one place to the other searching for I don't know what... Just... Don't waste your money and TIME.

Thank you, Bruno, for creating threejsjourney for devs as the place to learn everything that's needed to know for threejs. This was interesting. Peter's great at engaging the audience. But honestly the work with synthetic humans didn't inspire me. It didn't make me go 'Yes! That's how I want my work to look!' Honestly, I want to work more with real people.

Interesting stuff on the research front but I will say time is being invested into artificial personas with artificial behaviors. It might be useful for some preliminary work but at the end of the day researchers capture real human behavior. Sometimes we fail to notice these behaviors or their importance to products and businesses but once we do we can point everything we build toward that goal. There are whole fields devoted to neurology, psychology, sociology… and none of those fields have stopped finding new insights. So the notion of a prediction engine (filled with bias) fed an extensive list of demographics and behaviors (that need to be verified by real data at every level to avoid bias) can accurately churn out real human behaviors seems a bit, well, farcical. If you’re building a car, are you still going to have the human get in and drive it around? If you want to expand into other products but need to validate, are you going to bet on this or call a customer? I see the excitement here, just not the actual use case that doesn’t put a whole lot at risk. I see this tech being much more successful at what is immediately measurable in truth, like coding and visual and voice interfacing. Easy to see if the code is working or not. Easy for a designer to make little adjustments to a UI that was started by an ai. You’ll need a lot more data and tech advances to create accurate predictions in human behavior. We can’t even figure ourselves out and we gave the ai everything it knows! 😉
